Post holders will be based at a small friendly
district hospital in a fantastic location. The district is principally a very pleasant rural area, including many attractive towns and villages, an extensive coastline varying from tall cliffs to wide sandy beaches and the Exmoor National Park.
The successful applicants, are fully registered with the GMC. Fellowship with the Royal College of Anaesthetists is highly desirable.
The post(s) is for one year in the first instance, which would be renewable with the agreement of both parties.

Successful Candidates must meet these requirements:
Qualifications -
- Meet the Royal College of Anaesthetists' criteria for appointment to Staff Grade
- Minimum part l Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists or acceptable alternative where the training and education has been comparable in extent and standard.
- Willingness to undertake additional professional training
Clinical Experience -
- Minimum of 3 years clinical training in hospital posts at ST level and above including adequate experience in the specialty
- Experience providing anaesthetic cover to all
Teaching Experience -
Experience of teaching basic clinical skills to undergraduates
